Advocacy, sensitization and awareness creation are mainstreamed into almost all RFG projects.
Participatory methods are used to engage the community members, beneficiaries and community leaders in discussing problems and finding solutions. The tools used include focus group discussions, community-wide sensitization, peer education, advocacy by victims telling their compelling stories. The objective is to bring about change of mindsets among community members and mobilize them to take action to address problems and negative practices which lead to the abuse of children.
