As part of our efforts to ensure proper child development in rural communities our priority objective is to provide basic education for the children, especially the vulnerable ones.
We focus on children at risk of trafficking, and child labour. Since 2006 we have achieved the following:
• supported over 700 children for basic education and 41 ex-child slaves for apprenticeship training. The support includes enrolment in schools, supply of school clothing, books and stationery
• We have supported the establishment of one school library at Gyaahadze and furnished it with books
• We have collaborated with GHACEM (Cement Company) for the construction of a school at Atekyedo
